Science first.
Designs for Health®,
Inc. was founded in 1989 by nutritionist Linda Lizotte,
RD, CDN and Jonathan Lizotte, company CFO. Initially,
Designs for Health® focused exclusively on providing
nutrition counseling services. Ultimately, DFH trained
nutritionists have counseled tens of thousands of
individuals for the treatment of a variety of health
conditions. Soon afterwards, DHF developed an
extensive nutritional supplement line to service a
growing contact base of nutritionally oriented health
care practitioners.
Because DFH was founded on the principles of achieving
clinical outcomes through the use of diet and
nutritional therapies, long before developing their
first product, the company’s philosophy has always
been, “Science First”. Today “Science First” is also
