Dr. Derek K. Boyden
Dr. Boyden brings many years
of training and prior practice to Olympic Surgical
Associates. He spent a number of years training in
general surgery and maxillofacial surgery, in
post-doctoral residencies in Los Angeles, Chicago and
New York. Dr. Boyden then spent two years training at
the prestigious Institute of Facial Surgery in
Missoula, Montana.
His training
in maxillofacial surgery includes facial cosmetic
surgery as well as facial trauma, reconstruction
and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Boyden’s commitment
to the community is focused on helping its
residents enjoy the highest quality of life
possible. And his considerable experience in
facial surgery enables him to restore, enhance or
improve patients’ physical appearance as well as
function.
In addition to an active practice, Dr. Boyden has
published his research on a variety of topics,
including cosmetic lasers, maxillofacial pathology
and endosseous implants. He is a diplomate of the
American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Boyden is also certified in both Advanced
Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life
Support.
